In some states, all you need to start building pools is a business card...sad, I know. Before building a pool, research the builder! Check with the Better Business Bureau and make sure they are licensed and bonded--don't just take their work for it! You are about pay someone alot of money to dig a huge hole in your backyard and build a structure that must successfully contain over a hundred thousand pounds of water for many years.
