Phosfree...by Natural Chemistry

I've been using this product for years.  It removes phosphates (algae food) from your water, starving them and causing them to die.  If all your readings are right (pH, chlorine, and alkalinity) then you should probably have your phosphate levels tested...most likely this is the problem.  Follow the directions on the bottle and Voila!, the algae die.  I could not successfully keep my pools free of algae without this product...a must have!

AquaSalt...by AQUASALT, LLC

I am not sold on this salt.  Salt is salt, right?  It's just sodium chloride, no matter how you package it.  This stuff retails for between $7.00-$10.00 a bag at pool stores, (over $35.00 online) and under $6.00 at Wal-Mart...even cheaper at Sam's.  If you are refilling your pool and are going to need 15 bags you can save quite a few bucks buying from Wal-Mart (you've got to go there anyway, right?).  Just make sure you get "food grade" salt, and be sure to brush the salt until it is dissolved completely when you add it to your pool.
